Your weighing yourself, taking your medications and following your diet restrictions, but you have developed some symptoms that you haven't had in awhile. So when should you let your healthcare provider know about your symptoms? I have attached a tool from the American Heart Association that helps you determine when you should call your healthcare provider. It is just like a stop light. If you are in the green (GO), you are doing great, keep up the good work. If you are in the yellow (caution), probably need to contact your healthcare provider. Or if you are in the red (STOP), you definitely need to contact your healthcare provider or seek care immediately. Hope you find this tool helpful.
